Purpose of a Music Video

There are many reasons why artists make music videos for their songs. Here are just a few of the reasons I came up with;

                      - promotion of the song

                      - gain interest

                      - interpretation of lyrics

                      - express meaning and emotion

                      - target a particular audience

                      - tell a story

                      - for people to watch

I believe if directors combat these then the music video will be a great success and bring in a lot of money.
